About Lisa

My Philosophy

My mission is to educate and empower pregnant women and birthing partners who want better outcomes and positive experiences.

Whether it be emotional support, physical support, information on your options and rights, guided meditation, relaxation techniques, or to simply occupy space so that you know you don't have to go through birth alone, I am honored to use my knowledge and experience to help guide all women in their path toward motherhood.  Together, we can develop a birth plan, learn how to expect the unexpected, and help you prepare so that the birth that you envision can become reality.

My Story

Welcome Mamas!

My name is Lisa, and I am so excited for your journey through pregnancy and childbirth.

I am trained as a birth doula through DONA International as well as a mama to my 3 tiny humans - all with wildly different birth experiences.

I have a passion for helping others and for empowering women, especially as they are bringing new life into this world.

I live on a farm near Spiritwood, ND with my husband, our 3 children, and our dog, Sammy.  I love reading, traveling, watching movies, and spending time outside with my family, especially in the summer.

"Lisa is wholeheartedly dedicated to supporting you and the birth YOU want. She will be your advocate when you can't be. Highly recommend."

"Lisa was so helpful even prior to us becoming pregnant. My husband and I felt very comfortable turning to her with questions and concerns about the birthing process, our uncertainties or worries, and also sharing exciting news with her. During our stay in the hospital, which was an unscheduled admission, she was there quickly by our side. It was a comfort having a familiar face with us! She allowed us to talk out our options and concerns providing pros and cons in a balanced, neutral way. She was intuitive to know when to give us space as a couple, and also during time with baby, still being within reach, face to face or via phone, as needed. She's very passionate about families and babies, knows her research, and is a very trusted individual with us to this day!"
